Your Passport Never Leaves Your Device
Secure ID Redactor is built to protect your privacy. All processing — blurring, pixelating, blacking-out and editing — happens locally in your browser. No images are uploaded, transmitted or saved on our servers.
Here's a clear step-by-step guide on how to use the tool safely.
1. Upload Your Passport or ID
Click the upload area or drag an image into the editor. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, Screenshots, Photos. Your image instantly loads **locally**, without sending data anywhere.
2. Choose an Editing Mode
Select from the following modes:
- Blur – soften text or faces
- Pixelate – block out sensitive areas clearly
- Blackout – fully hide passport numbers or MRZ codes
- Eraser – restore original areas if needed
Just click and drag your mouse or finger to apply redaction.
3. Fine-Tune Brush Controls
Use the built-in settings to fine-tune your editing:
- Adjust brush size for precision
- Control blur strength for visibility
- Change brightness if the image is dark
- Select PNG, JPG or WebP output format
You can also rotate, flip or reset the image at any time.
4. Download the Redacted File
Once satisfied with your edits, click:
- Download – saves high-quality PNG, JPG or WebP
- PDF – auto-generates a clean A4 document
The file is downloaded directly to your device — and never stored on our server.
